[Clove flicks on the journal, playing with it, testing it's capabilities. It's... not exactly like anything she's seen before, but it's not too hard to work out, and maybe, if she has advanced tech...]

Cato? Are you there? Did we win? Can- [There's a pause. She's still groggy and having trouble remembering everything clearly, so it's taking her a while to register that the voices coming through on the journals have a lot of different accents, and don't seem to be gossiping about the apparent end of the Hunger Games. How to respond? Confusion and frustration, obviously.]

Hey, I'm asking a question! Somebody answer me. Who were the victors? The Games, who won? [She frowns suddenly and then throws the journal down onto a table. You can JUST see her in the edge of the screen, checking her body for injuries. When she doesn't find any, she snatches up the journal again.] The tracker jacker stings are gone... Where am I?

Hey, Cato! Are we in the Capitol?

You're in the afterlife.

People keep saying that. This isn't the afterlife. I'm still alive.

But I can't be dead. We were winning, I was winning.

No, no, I can't have lost. [She shakes her head, breathing fast.] I was supposed to win. They were my Games.

I'm so sorry.

Is it possible for you to have died and won anyway?

No. No. Death is failure. If you die, you lose.

[Silence for a while, then slowly:] Cato would have avenged me. He must have killed District Twelve. It was her fault. Everything was her.

[Softly:]

I'm sure if he was your friend he did everything in his power to make sure your death wasn't in vain.

There aren't any 'friends' in the Arena.

[That soft tone just kind of pisses her off.]
