[Clove flicks on the journal, playing with it, testing it's capabilities. It's... not exactly like anything she's seen before, but it's not too hard to work out, and maybe, if she has advanced tech...]
Cato? Are you there? Did we win? Can- [There's a pause. She's still groggy and having trouble remembering everything clearly, so it's taking her a while to register that the voices coming through on the journals have a lot of different accents, and don't seem to be gossiping about the apparent end of the Hunger Games. How to respond? Confusion and frustration, obviously.]
Hey, I'm asking a question! Somebody answer me. Who were the victors? The Games, who won? [She frowns suddenly and then throws the journal down onto a table. You can JUST see her in the edge of the screen, checking her body for injuries. When she doesn't find any, she snatches up the journal again.] The tracker jacker stings are gone... Where am I?
Hey, Cato! Are we in the Capitol?

I'm sorry. If you don't believe me, have a look outside your door.

Date: 2011-03-16 10:32 pm (UTC)The Barge is a rehabilitation ship; you're here to redeem yourself for the life you lived. I know that probably seems very esoteric, but you'll understand eventually.
How old are you, Clove?

Can you hear me? You can go back. Clove, stop what you're doing. You can go back.

Date: 2011-03-16 10:58 pm (UTC)What do you mean? How?
Video
Date: 2011-03-16 11:16 pm (UTC)As I said, the Barge is a second chance for you. Once you go through the program and are deemed rehabilitated, you can make the choice to go home.
You don't need to be afraid.

Date: 2011-03-17 11:32 am (UTC)What is this place?
Video
Date: 2011-03-17 11:54 am (UTC)This is the Barge. It's a ship capable of traveling through time and space. There are, at any given time, around one hundred passengers aboard - both inmates, such as yourself, and wardens.
